All Recycling together with Electra, and the recycling corporation MAI, have signed an agreement to establish a recycling plant for large electronic waste (Large Domestic Appliances) that includes refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and other similar products. The plant, which will have a capacity of approximately 30,000 tons per year, is intended to treat all the heavy electronic waste that is currently being buried in the ground with no adequate recycling solution. The plant will be built to meet the European CENELEC standard, and as part of the recycling process will be required to collect the refrigeration gas, which is one of the most prominent and harmful greenhouse gases currently released into the air.
All Recycling, which already owns and operates the largest and most advanced electronic waste recycling plant in the Middle East, is very excited about this initiative, and is proud to continue to lead in advancing environment quality and the preservation of the environment in which we live.
